All aboard the dry shampoo train! I’ve relied on this stuff for years to help perk my mane up when it’s feeling a little dirty or flat for a few reasons:
Dying my hair red means that the colour fades pretty quickly. Less washing = longer lasting colour.
Sometimes I’m just too damn lazy to put in the time and effort to wash, dry and style my hair.
I occasionally don’t feel like getting out of bed when my alarm goes off.
I really like how my hair has been styled and want to keep it going, but need a little boost.
It’s an amazing time saver and really comes through when you don’t have time to wash & style your hair before heading out the door. Today I’m sharing what I think is the best way to use dry shampoo (and a few of my faves below).
Now that you’ve learned about the best way to use it, take a look at a few of my favourites:
Ok guys, I’ve been trying really hard to bring you a new video a week and so far I’m doing pretty good. Granted, we’re only 5 weeks in but I have a feeling this one’s going to stick. I really hope you’ve been enjoying my videos so far, and if you haven’t subscribed yet what are you waiting for? This is a totally new thing for me, and I really appreciate everyone who’s taken the time to watch my videos, leave a comment and subscribe to my channel so far. It’s been a bit intimidating putting myself out there like this, and I’ve had to learn a lot to get started (there’s so much more to learn) but it’s been really fun. I would love to hear what you’ve thought about my videos so far and what you would like to see more of in the future! Moving on, the main reason for this post is that I uploaded a new video today, and it’s all about pretty things and a killer mascara. The Maybelline Total Temptation collection recently launched and I got my hands on it. I’ve always been a fan of Maybelline mascara and the palette looked so lovely that I knew I had to do a full face look using the collection.
Overall, I was pretty happy with the Maybelline Total Temptation collection. I really like the colours in the palette, though I wish there was a bit more depth to it, and I’m a big fan of the mascara so far (I’ve been wearing it almost every day since!). What do you think of this look?
Are you interested in seeing more details and swatches of the Maybelline Total Temptation collection? Let me know if so in the comments below and I’ll put a post together!
Last week I chatted about the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation, sharing an overview and swatches of the new collection. This week I’m bringing you my very first wear test video! I decided to give the foundation, concealer and primer a try, showing you 9 hours of wear – head to my previous blog post to hear more about my thoughts.
Check it out:
For those of you curious, I used the foundation in the shade Classic Ivory and the concealer in the shades Fair & Light – Fair ended up being surprisingly light on my pale skin (and right now I’m turning into a nice shade of Casper).
Last week I shared a look at the new Burt’s Bees Beauty makeup collection, and this week I’m bringing you a full face look – and my first YouTube video of 2018! I’m so excited to give video another try and I’m going to work really hard to learn how to create better videos and content and consistently bring you more. Give it a watch below and let me know what you think – I would love to hear from you and learn more about what you want to see moving forward!
Have you ever used makeup from The Body Shop? I love their skincare and body products but had somehow never given the beauty line a try and couldn’t wait to dig in to this bag of goodies. Oh, and if you’re interested sign the petition to end animal testing.
