As a beauty blogger, I have a chance to try tons of different products that cover all aspects of the beauty world.  I love trying out products and brands that I’ve never used before, as this is how I found items that I love!  Beauty box subscriptions give everyone the chance to “be a beauty blogger” as they deliver boxes full of beauty samples, often containing new brands and exciting products.  We currently have quite a few of these available to Canadians, and today I’m going to be sharing one of the latest Limited Edition boxes from Luxe Box, which will be shipping out in the next couple of weeks (You still have until the end of the day on December 3rd to subscribe in time to receive the Winter Luxe Box – read on if you’re interested because I have a discount code to share with you).

Luxe Box is a quarterly beauty subscription service, which ships out once per season (March, June, September & December).  It costs $26 per box and contains 7-8 deluxe beauty samples, with Limited Edition Boxes available each season for an upgrade price (usually $6-8).  Alternately, these LE Boxes can be purchased as one time options through the Luxe Boutique – these make great gifting options!

Today I have the Enchantress Luxe Box to share with you, which gives you the chance to “Take a walk through an enchanting forest and discover your inner empress.”

What’s inside this box?

suki skincare Transformative Purifying Masque (7.5 ml sample, $16.95 value)helps clear pores of impurities & reduce the appearance of redness, blemishes, flare-ups, spots & oily t-zone build-up for a more balanced healthy complexion (pH, bacteria & sebum). suki skincare is a new brand to me.  All of their products are natural and free of all of the bad junk that you really don’t want to put near your delicate skin.  If this masque does help to lead to a more balanced complexion, I can’t wait to start using it – especially with the winter coming.  My skin tends to get a little crazy this time of year and I would love to find a masque that can show real results.

Nicole by OPI Mer-maid For Each Other (3.75 ml sample, $3.99 value): This green is so hot it was made just for you!  Ok, seriously, how cute is this mini bottle of polish?  First of all, I love Nicole by OPI polishes.  A little more affordable than OPI polishes, but with great colour and results, these are definitely great for any nail junkie.  Secondly, I love mermaids (heck, my next tattoo is going to be one).  Put these two things together, and you get a gorgeous, shimmery-green polish.  It’s got great pigmentation and the finish is beautiful and multi-dimensional with a ton of shine.  I love the size of this sample as it makes the perfect, travel-friendly pal for when you need a touch-up on the go.

Loose Butter Eyelash Curler ($20.00 value)Give your lashes their biggest curl and best volume ever with our Loose Button eyelash curler.  You can’t really go wrong with an eyelash curler.  Granted, I have a few already but I know a couple of people who would love this so I’ll be passing it on!

Rose Flower Illuminating Rose Collagen Renewal Face Serum (3 ml sample, $10.00 value – not pictured): Fully restores the skin’s radiance and fortifies the complexion. Rich in sterolins, vitamins B1, B2, C, D and E to plump and lift the skin. Antioxidant rich berry-complex and ellagic acid, enhanced by omegas 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids, supports collagen and cellular renewal while boosting elasticity. Helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles. The lush potency of whole rose essential oil concentrate delivers a rush of rejuvenating moisture that is ideal for all skin types, including sensitive.  I’m a big believer in serums and how important they can be to a skincare routine.  I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet,  but based on the ingredients and included vitamins, this could be a really powerful anti-aging product.

So Susan Flutter Mascara (Full Size, $17.46 value): An intense carbon-black mascara formulated with hyaluronic spheres to help you achieve the darkest, curviest lashes possible. The long brush with extra stiff bristles helps to achieve voluminous, multi-dimensional lashes in just one coat. Suitable for contact lens wearers. 100% cruelty free.  If you’ve been reading my blog for a little while, you probably know that I’m a biiiiiig mascara fan.  If you ever see me leave the house without it on, you know something’s wrong (or I haven’t gotten enough sleep).  This mascara has nicely separated bristles and medium fullness.  The formula is very wet and glossy, so you may want to give it a little more time to dry (if you have longer lashes, you know how big of a pain it is to open your eyes wide too soon only to get mascara on your brow bone).

So Susan Wonderlight in Bronze Wonder (Full Size, $14.96 value): A fusion of an eye primer, luminizer, eyeshadow-enhancing base and an under-eye perfector. Side 1 : A water-based eye primer. Side 2 : A creamy under-eye corrector. 100% Cruelty Free.  This is the product that I’m most excited to try.  This provides the perfect pre-eye makeup prep, covering correction, priming and highlighting.  The corrector is probably better suited to light skin tones as it is quite a fair, nude tone.  The primer is really interested as it has a shimmery appearance to boost shadows.  It dries to a bit of a tacky finish so that eye makeup can adhere to it for longer wear.  This also makes a great highlighter.

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo (30 ml sample, $10.00 value): Freshen dirty hair, create extra volume, and extend your beautiful blowout with a touch of amika’s Perk Up Dry Shampoo. The only dry shampoo on the market with no aluminum and no talc, once you try it you’ll never go back to your old stuff. Oh lawd, I am dry shampoo-obsessed.  This dry shampoo has such a nice, fresh scent and does an excellent job of soaking up excess oil.  I’m going to be saving it for my next trip!  Oh, and the can is absolutely adorable.

So Susan 8-hour Cheek Stain (Full Size, $24.96): A long-lasting moisturizing gel blush that gives you a healthy glow-from-within flush that everyone covets. The unique balm-like texture gives your cheeks a healthy bloom of colour that lasts for up to 8 hours and is water-resistant. 100% Cruelty Free. I personally don’t have too much experience with cheek stains and am looking forward to giving this a try.  It’s quite pigmented and gives skin a nice, cherry flush, so it is probably best to start off with a light application before building it up so you don’t overdo it.

I’ve got a special discount code so readers of my blog can save on their subscription – click through here to use this!  Current subscribers can upgrade here, while one-time Enchantress Boxes can be purchased through the Luxe Boutique.
