Hi everyone! Hope your weeks are off to great starts! I just wanted to share some information about an event that Dress for Success Toronto is going to be putting on this Wednesday. The POLISHED Gala is Dress for Success’ 4th annual Fashion Fundraiser. I won’t be able to make it this year but wanted to share the info in case any of you are interested! Proceeds from this event go toward’s Dress for Success’ work helping disadvantaged women in the community. A great cause and a great night!
Who: POLISHED: 4th Annual Fashion Fundraiser in support of Dress for Success Toronto
What: Support Dress for Success Toronto as we help disadvantaged women in our community polish their skills, polish their resumes & polish their wardrobes as they strive to succeed in work & life. With special guests:
– Amanda Lang, CBC News Senior Business Correspondent, host of The Exchange & author of national bestseller The Power of Why
– Andrea Martin, Tony & Emmy Award winning actress & comedian
– Jeanne Beker, Fashion icon
– and emcee for the evening, Cynthia Loyst, co-host of CTV’s The Social
Words of wisdom from Amanda Lang. Performance by Andrea Martin. Food and cocktails. Silent auction, prizes & surprises. Guests can also visit the “Polished Bar” to receive mini-makovers and head shots.

*In addition to regular gala admission. VIP ticket holders will have early access to the event (5:30 in “the Cabin” at TheFifth) for an intimate Q&A with Amanda Lang, photo op & a signed copy of Amanda’s bestseller The Power of Why followed by an exclusive wine-tasting experience.
