So here’s the deal. I’m head over heels for Halloween. No joke. I’ve got bins of decorations which I’m ready to pull out so I can get decorating (my friend and I have decided on a haunted pirate ship theme a la Pirates of the Caribbean for our contribution to the neighbourhood). As you might expect, I think it’s absolutely necessary to have a killer costume and makeup to match for optimal Halloween fun. Last year I was Poison Ivy (heck yeah I made my costume) and this year I think I’m leaning towards being a mermaid because a. it would be killer and b. it totally matches with the haunted pirate ship theme.
Of course, for amazing Halloween makeup one needs some perfect tools.
