Trust Fund Beauty Polish (Swatches)

I’m a sucker for nail polish.  I’ve got a collection that would rival Shoppers Drug Mart’s and it just keeps growing.  I’ll admit it, I have a bit of a problem, but I can’t stop.  I want ALL OF THE POLISHES.  I’ve recently started checking out more indie brand polishes (I love my OPIs and Essies but it’s fun to branch out and these companies have some amazing shades) and came across Trust Fund Beauty.   After taking a peek through the site I was instantly obsessed.  The brand is sassy and bold, with each polish belonging to a unique collection (ie. Prenup, Scandal & Hamptons).  Seriously, these polishes have attitude and I love it.  Shade names like Jail Bait, I’m Kind of A Big Deal and Do You Know Who My Father Is? match up with shades full of colour and pigment.  Another plus?  They’re all 5 free (and cruelty free!  Gotta keep those little critters safe), which means that the toxic ingredients often found in products have been left out so you don’t have to worry.

I had a chance to try out two Trust Fund Beauty polishes – Big Spender (from the Celebutant Collection) & What’s A Budget (from the Prenup Collection).  Read on for swatches and my take!

Trust Fund Beauty Polish in Big Spender: This peachy-hued polish is a fun, warm shade with a hint of shimmer.  Perfect for summer.  It applied really nicely (2 coats shown here) – definitely need two coats, but once the second is on it becomes fully opaque and stunning.

Trust Fund Beauty What’s A Budget:  I’ve been on a major “blues” kick this summer, so this little beauty fell into my hands at just the right time.  A gorgeous Tiffany-esque blue, this polish packs a punch and has tons of brightness.  Two coats shown here to get full opacity.  It’s a stunner.

The brush on the Trust Fund Beauty polishes is a bit thinner than I’m used to and it took a little more work to coat the entire nail, but it’s easily doable.  As for wear time, I got a solid few days wear out of both (with a top coat, of course), before I noticed any chipping.  My thoughts?  Great colour selection (I’ve already got my eyes on Denim With Diamonds, Pool Boy Toy, Jail Bait and Epic Tantrum), good wear time & you can never go wrong with 5 free.  Have you ever tried any Trust Fund Beauty polishes?
