love things that sparkle and shine, and when it comes to nail polish this very much applies.  I’m a self-professed glitter-nail addict.  I love how amazing and glam a good sparkly polish can look, but as we all know, they can be a complete pain to remove.  Cue the new OPI Glitter Off! Natural Nail Base Coat, which will be providing relief to all of us with sparkly tips starting next month.  I’m waiting to receive a bottle of this miracle in a bottle to review, but in the meantime I couldn’t wait to share this news with you.

Women love glitter nail lacquer, which adds a glamorous element to any manicure.  However, it can be difficult and frustrating to remove.  Now OPI fans can fully embrace the glitter nail trend without without the accompanying hassle. Simply brush on one thin layer of Glitter Off to bare nails, wait until it dries clear and then apply as many coats of glitter lacquer as needed to get the desired look,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP, “Glitter Off is designed to last a for a few days, allowing for glitter shades to be changed frequently or worn just for a special occasion or night out.  It’s so easy to use – And when it’s time to remove it, peel!

If this works, it’s a game changer.  Of course, you can always try the “glue trick” which essentially works in the same way, but this is much more convenient and easy.  No nail polish remover is required when this is used, and the glitter comes off in a flash.  This will also come in handy when wearing darker colours or shades that stain.  Check out these images from OPI demonstrating the use of Glitter Off.  I’ll let you know how it works once I’ve had a chance to give it a try.  What do you think of this new base coat?

Awesome! I’ve used Nail Pattern Boldness’ Glitter A-Peel with fairly high success. Being able to just buy this at the drugstore is so much better!

I love glitter but hate taking it off so this looks awesome! I wonder if repeated peeling does any harm to the nails?
