Benefit Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer

Benefit Stay Flawless

Exciting news, Benefit fans – continuing with the trend of their fab Hello Flawless products, they are launching the new Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer, set to hit stores in July.  I’m a big fan of primers and was really excited to see this new addition to the family.  I think that applying a primer is one of the most important steps in a beauty routine as it perfectly preps the skin for makeup application, and Benefit has made this step even easier.

I’ve gotten used to using liquid or gel primers, and was really interested to see this stick-primer format.  It comes in a twist up tube so that the primer can easily glide across the skin.  It does appear to come in a beige tone, but once applied it blends seamlessly into the skin to match with any tone.

I really like how this primer preps my skin – it helps to hide pores and smooths the skin so that my foundation can apply evenly, and I’m glad to say that I do notice my makeup lasting longer than usual, which is fantastic.  It’s perfect to throw on in the morning before a long day so that you don’t have to worry about having to reapply throughout.  Benefit also threw in a little tip when applying foundation over the primer – apply with the fingertips to really help lock in the colour all day long.

Wow this primer looks really good. My present primer is Dermaglow, and since I started using a primer, I think it became an important part of my routine.

I’m pretty used to gel and liquid primers for face and eyelids. Not too sure about a stick though. It would take some time getting used to not applying too much I think.

As usual Benefit has the cutest packaging! I would like to try this but am a little worried about the stick form of primer clogging my pores.

Such cute packaging. I like the concept of this but since i don’t wear primer a lot, I will have to pass on this. I like that you really don’t have to use your fingers as you do for liquid or cream primers! handy~

I’ve never use a primer and I really need it because I have oily skin. I would love to try this to see if it actually works 15 hours.
