Ooooh… More pretty polishes for spring! Estee Lauder has come out with new, limited-edition spring shades of their Pure Color Nail Lacquer, the Heavy Petals ($25 each). This collection, by Estee Lauder’s creative director Tom Pecheux, is bursting with colours so bright and fresh, they’re perfect for shaking off your winter blues and putting yourself in a more sunny state of mind.
“In Nail there is a lot of fantasy and color and nothing is more rich in color and sensation than Paris in Spring,”
stated Tom Pecheux. “For this collection, I thought of amazing bouquets from the flower markets, the pretty
pastels of children’s carousels and the pops of color from macaroons.”
I’ve been playing with these polishes in Narcissist and Coral Cult (See below for swatches) and am so in love. The colours are very opaque and apply really nicely. Not only that, but they’re gorgeous. Take a look:
