THE BIG REVEAL: October 2012 Starlooks Box

Hi beauties!  I have another beauty subscription service to share with you – the Starlooks Starbox!  This box runs a little bit differently from most that you’re used to – the products that you receive are actually Starlooks products (you can take a look at some of their products here) – they’re nice and affordable.  You can subscribe to this box for $15.00 per month (and a side note – if you see products you really like in past Starlboxes, you can actually order past boxes on their website).  Each box includes 3-4 full size products, which is great.  I received my first box yesterday, and couldn’t wait to share, so take a look and let me know what you think!

Starlooks Gold Dust Eyeliner

Eyeliner Pencil in Gold Dust ($8) – This isn’t a colour I would have picked out for myself normally, but the colour is a really pretty light gold that would be perfect for lining under your eyes.  It goes on really smoothly which I love.

Eye Shadow Pigment in Posh/Peddle

Eye Shadow Pigment in Posh/Peddle ($12) –  This is so pretty!  I instantly fell in love with this pigment.  I love purple eyeshadows, and this is the most gorge colour – it goes on really beautifully, leaving highly pigmented colour.

Lipstick in Masquerade

Lipstick in Masquerade ($11) – at first I thought this lipstick was going to be a little too orange-y for me, but it was a nice, rich red once applied.  It goes on nice and creamy and lasts pretty long too – I will definitely be wearing this!

Masquerade Eye Stickers

Masquerade Eye Tattoos (Bonus!)  – These are really pretty – I didn’t get a chance to try them out yet because I wanted to put this up quickly for you guys but will let you know when I do.  The neat thing about these is that they are applied just like the temporary tattoos everyone used to put on when they were little, so you don’t have to worry about them peeling off.  Can’t wait to give them a try!

Quartz Crystals

A neat thing they include in these boxes are these little quartz crystals, meant to attract energy and help you to maintain focus.  They suggest collecting them and keeping them in a glass jar to create a brush holder – neat idea!

If you’re interested in signing up for Starbox, you can do so right on their website here, and I’m going to suggest doing it before December 1st, the cutoff date for the December box, because they included this card with a really interesting little bit of information on it in this box:

What do you think?  Will you give Starbox a try?
