My latest review is for a set of products that I have fallen in love with. Kellet Skincare is an anti-acne line designed with adult skin in mind – Dr. Lisa Kellett created this line knowing that adult skin has different needs than that of a teenager, and the result is great. The products were designed to fight adult acne while fighting the signs of aging, and contain no parabens, synthetic dyes & fragrances or sulfates (plus they’re cruelty free!). I decided to let my mom put the three products I received to the test, as she has been complaining about the products that she has been using, and has been having some issues with her skin lately – boom, match made in gorgeous skin heaven. Keep reading to check out the results and see how you can try this out as well!
The products she tested out were the polishing gel cleanser (a gentle, exfoliating cleanser), moisturizing gel (an oil free hydrating gel to reduce blemishes and calm inflammation) and the clarifying treatment (used to clear up existing blemishes and prevent future breakouts).
My mom really enjoyed using this product: ” The polishing gel cleanser was my favourite out of the trio – it has miniature exfoliating beads which do a great job of leaving the skin clean. I really like that all of the products have a nice mild scent and are very light. They didn’t irritate my skin at all. I really noticed that my skin felt both moisturized and tightened – I could feel the anti-aging part working. And it really made a difference in how my skin looked.”
I managed to convince her to let me take some images before she started using the products and 4 weeks later to show you the difference (I hope she doesn’t kill me for posting these on here!)
On a side note, I tried these products out as well (when I was able to sneak them away from her), and I have to say I’m really impressed. The first time I used them I can honestly say that I noticed a difference overnight, and the blemishes I had on my face had just about disappeared. The exfoliating cleanser is amazing and really worth a try. I also want to say that these products are so gentle – I’ve tried using other anti-acne products before, like Proactiv, and just found them to be way too harsh – they dried my skin right out. I’m really satisfied with the way these products treat breakouts, but still manage to keep the skin nice and moisturized.
Like what you see/hear? Good. My friends at Kellett have decided to give one of you their trial kit, containing 10 ml sizes of their polishing gel cleanser, moisturizing gel and clarifying acne treatment (pictured below – worth $75!) – enter to win using the Rafflecopter form below. Open to US/Canada. Good luck!
