Holiday Beauty Essential is a good moisturizer for the winter season. Still haven’t found my perfect one, so I hope this box would introduce me to a good one.

My must have item for the holidays is glitter for my eyes. It’s the only time of year I don’t feel too old to be wearing it.

With the winter months already upon me, one of my beauty must-haves for the holiday season is a non-acnegenic facial moisturizer to keep my skin looking fresh and to get rid of those unwanted dry patches! As far as a ‘make-up’ beauty routine, I apply a little foundation; Recently I’ve fallen in love with ‘Double Wear Light’ by ‘Estee Lauder’. The make-up stays in place all day long without the need for touch ups. This comes in handy when you’re busy attending and planing holiday parties!
I find that winter is the perfect time to make my eyes pop! With all the snow and fading colors outdoors I like to remind myself of vibrancy and spring by accentuating the emerald hues in my eyes. I do this by creating a more dramatic effect with liquid eyeliner on my top lid, extending it out past my eye (I like to use a volumizing mascara when I draw a blunt line, to really bring out my eyelashes). I love creating a smokey-eye effect with my shadows, using brighter colors. I’ve used a gorgeous lilac purple pigment powder and a few jewel tones from Bare Minerals loose eye shadow pigments. Since I’m really spicing up the look of my eyes, I don’t want to over-do my look or have my eyes compete for attention with my lips so I finish my holiday glamour with my all season favorite -natural shade ultra shimmer lip gloss (Bare Minerals in ‘Wild Honey’).
